On Oct. 12 we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the first day of MVNC classes with a special chapel service and other exciting activities throughout the day! The Mount Vernon community joined us as we celebrated how our community helped bring MVNU to life! Mount Vernon Mayor Richard Mavis was one of the special guests in chapel this day. Event photos

Homecoming as the pinnacle event for the 50th anniversary, including celebratory Cougar Basketball, the MVNU Alumni Experience, the fall play, Golden Gala, and more!

The Mount Vernon Church of the Nazarene congregations, along with MVNU alumni, students, and guests, join in one, united service, celebrating the work of God through our church and university community. Special speaker: Dr. Jesse Middendorf. It'll take place at the R.R. Hodges Chapel Auditorium at 10 a.m.



The iconic and pinnacle 50th Anniversary Celebration event. On November 10 the Donoho Recreation Center is transformed into a lighted display with live music, award presentations, and enlivening entertainment. Share dinner with classmates from every graduating year and visit with former faculty and staff. Hear the announcement of an exciting upcoming campus project. Don’t miss this once-every-50-years-event celebrating the life of MVNU. It will be an entertaining and life-giving experience you’ll never forget! Registration is required for this event. Cost is $25 per person. Limited seating available.
